  • Elevation at Eloy Airport 1573 feet
  • Desert Climate with winter low of 40 degrees and summer high of 110 degrees
  • Ample and economical labor supply available
  • I-10 and I-8 Interchange is located 7 miles west of Eloy
  • Union Pacific Railroad access in Eloy
  • 17 miles west is City of Casa Grande -population approximately 32,470
  • Major grocery store chains and shopping located in Casa Grande
  • Central Arizona College (Junior College) located 18 miles to the North of Eloy
  • Approximately 45 miles away from the Phoenix Metro Area and Tucson via I-10

  • Approximately 87,600 irrigation acres
  • A variety of crops are grown
  • Historically these lands were in cotton and small grains production
  • Crops have been diversified to include forage and vegetables
  • Water supply is made up of Central Arizona Project water and groundwater
  • For the last eleven years the water cost has averaged $38 per acre-foot
  • Land prices rose in 2005 and 2006 but have begun to stabilize in 2007
  • Electricity in CAIDD boundaries is served by ED2, ED4, ED5, San Carlos and APS

  • 108,000 acres situated within the Eloy area
  • Consists of approximately 64% irrigation pumping
  • 36% residential, commercial and other services
  • Power rates are very competitive for the surrounding area

  • Approximately 48,000 acres serving mostly rural areas
  • Situated approximately 8 miles south of Eloy
  • Consists of approximately 80% irrigation pumping
  • 20% residential, commercial and other services
